Communication
From LCA2012
Official communication comes in the form of email announcements on the Announce mailing list (you were subscribed when you registered), and also before the keynotes each day of the conference, so don't skip the keynotes!
There is usually a noticeboard near registration which also contains official information, advisories, and up-to-date schedules.
Information on the conference wired and wireless networks is available.
Video streaming of the sessions is in place.

- Email: As above, official annoucements come via the announce mailing list, but the chat mailing list is quite popular. Be warned, during the conference you can get over 100 emails a day on this list.
- IRC: #linux.conf.au on Freenode. Rather popular during the conference, can have some interesting insight into the talks as they happen.
